Platform for safety on a quay wall

This platform, equipped with three staircases, was installed on a quay wall along a river. The steel structures allows personnel from a petrochemical company to safely and easily access the jetties. DFK-Steel was responsible for every stage of the process, from engineering through to on-site installation. The structure was designed to fit seamlessly with the existing infrastructure along the waterfront. A 3D scan provided by Vicoma was used for the design process. Using laser scanners, existing situations can be mapped with millimetre-level accuracy.
