16-metre-high stair tower between three tanks

This impressive stair tower was installed between three tanks at the Aglobis Group site in Europoort, commissioned by Arma Tankbouw. The structure, over sixteen metres high and weighing approximately fifteen tonnes, was prefabricated in DFK-Steel’s workshop in Gorinchem. At the tank terminal, the construction was then assembled step by step on-site. The lower section is secured to anchors cast into concrete. The stair tower provides safe access to the tanks for inspections, maintenance, and other operational activities.
